Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad & Yuva Manthan Collaborate To Bring G20 Awareness To Every Village Via Ekal Vidyalayas

The Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad and Yuvamanthan have joined forces to advance Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of transforming the G20 into a Jan Bhagidari (public participation) movement. This groundbreaking initiative aims to raise awareness of the G20 among approximately 500,000 students in 20,000 villages across India, using Ekal Vidyalayas as the medium.

Through this partnership, Yuvamanthan will be empowered to spread the message of the G20 to every corner of the nation. Yuvamanthan is actively working towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of connecting every youth in the country with the G20 movement by organizing Model G20 Summits in educational institutions nationwide. The Memorandum of Understanding with the Bharat Shiksha Parishad will foster mutual cooperation between the two entities while promoting G20-related awareness in even the farthest villages.

The primary objective of this collaboration is to promote the G20 through Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad's Ekal Abhiyan and reach out to young students in the most remote corners of the country, thereby integrating the true essence of making the G20 a people's movement, as envisioned by the Prime Minister. Additionally, the collaboration will accelerate momentum towards building an educated, healthy, and prosperous India.

Youth20 (Y20) India serves as the official youth engagement group of the G20, where young individuals from all G20 member nations engage in meaningful dialogues and consultations with one another. Y20 has partnered with Yuvamanthan to enhance youth participation in G20 initiatives through Yuvamanthan Model G20 (YMG20) Summits in educational institutions across the country. As part of this awareness campaign, students will also learn about the five Y20 themes while completing an Orientation e-module on the G20.

Yuvamanthan has developed a platform to create awareness among youth about the G20 and solicit their perspectives and ideas on global issues, which are then shared with policymakers through YMG20 summits. These summits, organized in over 10,000 educational institutions nationwide, encourage greater involvement of young individuals in the G20. Students assume the roles of world leaders and collaborate to develop strategies for sustainability, peace, and growth.

The Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad has praised Yuvamanthan's efforts to connect students with the G20, affirming that the G20 will now reach every corner of the country through this unified campaign. Shri Rajeev Aggarwal, National General Secretary of the Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad, stated that children in every region of the country will learn about the G20 thanks to the partnership between Yuvamanthan and the Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad.

Shri Akhil Gupta, National President of the Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad, added that Yuvamanthan's initiatives will now reach students who are often left out in such activities. Through Ekal Abhiyan, they will ensure awareness and integration of village students in this global event. Shri Nitin Agarwal, Director of Yuvamanthan, emphasized the importance of reaching every young student, regardless of their location, with information about India's G20 presidency, and Ekal Vidyalayas are the best means to spread the message to the remotest parts of the country.

Furthermore, Shri Sunil Gupta, National Joint General Secretary of the Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad, expressed that this partnership will bridge the urban-rural divide, leading to participation from young students in villages in G20 activities. In conclusion, Shri Danish Kamal, Director of SafeInSchool.in, highlighted the inclusive nature of India's G20 campaign and stressed the importance of ensuring that youngsters in villages and tribal areas are also aware and participating in the activities as their counterparts in the cities and our collaborations with Ekal Vidyalayas and Ministry of Tribal Affairs, through their Eklayva Model Residential Schools (EMRS) are assuring just that”.
