In the coming months, a web purchase option will also be introduced at a price of Rs 599 per month. Accounts that were verified before the introduction of Meta Verified will retain their verified badge, as stated by the social network.
With Meta Verified in India, users will receive a verified badge, confirming the authenticity of their account, which has been verified with a government ID. This badge helps establish the identity of the account and enhances its credibility.
Furthermore, Meta Verified offers enhanced protection against impersonation by proactively monitoring for impersonators who may target individuals with a growing online audience. This feature provides additional security and safeguards the reputation and privacy of users.
