The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regarding the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. On Wednesday, AAP claimed that the BJP orchestrated Kejriwal’s arrest through the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in a so-called "fake case." According to AAP, this arrest was a result of the BJP's panic over the possibility of Kejriwal being granted bail by the Supreme Court in a separate money laundering case.
According to AAP, the arrest was a strategic move by the BJP to distract from and obstruct Kejriwal's potential legal relief from the Supreme Court. An AAP spokesperson stated, "When our Chief Minister was likely to be granted bail by the Supreme Court, the BJP panicked, concocted a fake case, and ensured his arrest by the CBI."
