Ayushman Bharat Brings New Life To 28-Year Nazish Through First Kidney Transplant In UP On Eid
The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has once again demonstrated its commitment to implementing central and state schemes across all sections of society without discrimination. Under the leadership of the Yogi Sarkar, the first successful kidney transplant has been performed in the state through the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, realizing the vision of PM Modi's "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas." This kidney transplant has given a new lease of life to 28-year-old Nazish from the Meerut district on the occasion of Eid, serving as a precious gift for Nazish and her family.
Nazish, the daughter of Salim Ahmed and Sabeela from Walidpur village in Daurala block of Sardhana Tehsil in Meerut district, suffered from kidney failure. When they consulted doctors, a kidney transplant was advised. Salim and his son Azam were struggling to support the family through hard work. The family was devastated upon learning of the cost of the kidney transplant. However, through the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, the transplant became possible without any financial burden on them. Nazish was able to celebrate Eid with her family after the successful kidney transplant, bringing immense joy to the entire family. Farheen, Nazish's sister, expressed gratitude for the scheme and mentioned that both Nazish and their mother (the donor), Sabeela, are now in good health. Their family received an invaluable gift from the Ayushman Bharat scheme on Eid.
