A group of combat journalists—who are completely different from each other in every way—travel through an active war zone to New York City (NYC) to interview the US President about his intentions behind starting the war. Go on a trip to Washington DC. This group of reporters includes our lead Lee (Kirsten Dunst), her trusted lieutenant Joel (Wagner Moura), Sammy (Stephen Henderson), a veteran war reporter, and Jessie (Cailee Spaeny), Lee's bright-eyed admirer-turned-protégé.

The path to the majestic White House is filled with contrasting scenes of people struggling for necessities, mass graves, hanging bodies, and a sniper firing, reminding us of what can happen when everyone in the peaceful United States is armed. Have the right to carry. While its base could have been a great movie about how a group of war journalists come together to fight all kinds of challenges for a big story, Civil War ended up being just a Kirsten Dunst show.

Dunst shines as the tough and stoic war journalist in this film. More specifically, all those scenes show where she is on top, including the one with Wagner Moura, where she even manages to bring together an inexperienced photographer in the middle of a war zone. , is different from everyone else.

Talking about casting, it is well cast, when Dunst Lee has to go and shoot two people who have been hanged and she does this choice with ease, or when she has to play with her young talent. One needs to be exposed to the harsh realities of one's profession.

Cailee Spaeny plays Jessie Collins, an aspiring photographer who goes through a transformation throughout the film. She is also joined by Wagner Moura, best known for playing Pablo Escobar in the show Narcos.

The actors in the film are excellent in their work, but at the same time the film lacks in detail. Directed by Alex Garland, the film tells very little about the war photojournalists who go on the perilous journey, focusing only on the fact that they are experts at taking great photos.

The film focuses on his 'getting into action' and 'getting the perfect shot' in several scenes, but there is more to say than that. The climax of the film also seems beyond people's expectations.

Overall, 'Civil War' is a must-watch. It will be released in America on 12th April and in India, this movie will be released on 19th April.
