Deadpool & Wolverine Teaser Review: New Look Of Hugh Jackman Is Unveiled
The film will be directed by Shawn Levy and is slated to hit theaters worldwide on July 26.
The anticipation is mounting as Ryan Reynolds revealed a teaser ahead of the official trailer release. In the teaser, we see Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, pushing Logan to get back to being a relentless clawed mutant and indulge in the battle alongside him in the new teaser of Deadpool & Wolverine. The teaser was dropped by Ryan Reynolds just a day before the official release of the trailer.
The teaser is 41 seconds long and begins with a shot of a music box featuring a Logan action figure. The figure is impaled through the heart as someone sits beside it and turns it on. In the next scene, we hear Reynold's voiceover as Deadpool walks through a snow-covered place. He teases that he will attempt to motivate Logan to embrace the persona of Wolverine again and the flashes of Hugh Jackman as Logan appears on the screen. He is heavily wounded and trying to avoid death.
Deadpool in the teaser states, “Look, eventually, you're going to hang up the claws, and it's going to make a lot of people very sad, but one day, your old pal Wade's gonna ask you to get back in the saddle again, and when he does, say yes,” as the scenes from the previous Wolverine films are shown. In the ending scene of the teaser, we see Deadpool lying motionless on the ground as Wolverine approaches him wearing his yellow suit. “I've always wanted to ride with you, Log. Deadpool... and Wolverine,” Ryan Reynold states at the end.
