Delhi Residents Believe Kejriwal Approved And Is Morally Accountable For The Money Sent To Goa

New Delhi: Delhi BJP President, Virendra Sachdeva, and former President & MP, Manoj Tiwari, held a joint press conference today to address concerns regarding corruption and ethical conduct within the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government, specifically highlighting the issue of love jihad murders. The press conference was also attended by spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor and co-head of the Relation Department, Vikram Vittal.

Sachdeva stated that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is accountable to the people of Delhi, especially after the court's acknowledgment of the supplementary chargesheet filed by the CBI in the liquor scam. Additionally, he mentioned that the Delhi High Court had recently rejected the bail plea of former Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia. Sachdeva emphasized that Sisodia's inability to secure bail, coupled with the court's statement regarding the potential influence on witnesses, indicates that the law is tightening its grip on him.

He further highlighted that all courts had refused bail to Sisodia based on the charge sheets filed by the CBI and ED. The new charge sheet filed by the CBI presented evidence of the liquor mafia allegedly providing Rs 2.2 crore to Sisodia and engaging in hawala transactions to send money to Goa. Sachdeva argued that the people of Delhi are interested in knowing Arvind Kejriwal's response to these revelations, as they believe the money sent through hawala had Kejriwal's approval, holding him morally responsible for the scandal.

Sachdeva also accused MP Sanjay Singh of being aware of the strong evidence against him in the liquor scam, similar to Satyendar Jain and Manish Sisodia, and suggested that Singh would not obtain bail following a potential arrest. He claimed that Singh's recent media statements denying his involvement in the charge sheet were misleading, as Singh is indeed named in the liquor scam chargesheet.

Concluding the press conference, Sachdeva expressed confidence that Aam Aadmi Party leaders, including Sanjay Singh, could engage in media propaganda, but they would ultimately face punishment in the court of law.

In summary, the Delhi BJP President and former President & MP, along with other party representatives, raised questions about the ethical conduct of the Arvind Kejriwal government, specifically highlighting the liquor scam and the alleged involvement of key members of the Aam Aadmi Party. They emphasized the court's refusal to grant bail to Manish Sisodia and presented evidence of his alleged connections with the liquor mafia. The BJP representatives called for Kejriwal's response and asserted that the involved individuals would face consequences in the court trial.
