G20 Summit Delhi: City Fully Prepared to Welcome Foreign Guests for Prestigious International Gathering
The G-20 summit, a significant gathering of world leaders, is set to take place in India, hosted in the national capital, Delhi, on September 9-10. This international conference will bring together more than 30 heads of state and top officials from the European Union, invited guest countries, and 14 heads of international organizations.
The summit will be held at the newly constructed International Conference and Exhibition Center known as "Bharat Mandapam," situated in Pragati Maidan. Preparations for this prestigious event are in full swing, and foreign guests are expected to start arriving in Delhi from September 7. To ensure the safety of these dignitaries, the Delhi Police are on high alert and are implementing comprehensive security measures.
Security agencies in Delhi are actively engaged in preparing strategies to fortify the summit venues, incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) modules to enhance security measures. Additionally, the Delhi Traffic Police have completed their preparations, launching the G-20 Virtual Help Desk to provide real-time traffic updates and suggest optimal routes for attendees traveling to and from the summit, airports, railway stations, and bus terminals.
During the event, from September 8 to September 10, all government offices, banks, and financial institutions in the capital will remain closed to accommodate the summit's activities. The G-20 summit in India has attracted a large number of attendees, with VIPs reserving over 3,500 hotel rooms in Delhi and Gurugram. As a result, approximately 160 flights have been canceled due to the event, highlighting the magnitude of this global gathering.

Some of the top 5-star hotels in Delhi, including Ashoka, Taj Palace, ITC Maurya, Shangri-La, Le Meridien, The Lalit, The Leela, Imperial, and Oberoi Hotels, will host the visiting dignitaries.
Prominent leaders from various countries are expected to participate, including US President Joe Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Chinese President Xi Jinping, French President Emmanuel Macron, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
However, Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attend the G-20 summit in New Delhi, as he is focusing on special military operations. Several other countries, including Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mexico, Japan, Italy, Germany, Indonesia, Brazil, and Argentina, have not yet confirmed their participation.
In addition to the member countries, several guest nations, including the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius, and Nigeria, will also be present at the summit.
As the summit approaches, Delhi is gearing up to host this prestigious event, which promises to be a platform for critical discussions on global challenges and international cooperation.
