The G20 Summit commenced with a soft launch on September 8, 2023, in the vibrant city of New Delhi, slated to conclude on September 10, 2023, at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan. The summit serves as a global gathering of world leaders, a platform for discussions, and a beacon of international cooperation.

As an integral part of this prestigious event, a vibrant crafts mela has been erected, serving as a vivid tapestry of India's rich cultural diversity. Among the distinguished stalls, Bihar takes center stage, proudly showcasing its unique art and culture.

Visitors to the Bihar stall are treated to live art demonstrations by the state's talented artists, offering a rare glimpse into the authentic creative process behind the stunning masterpieces on display. The stall immerses patrons in the colorful world of Madhubani and Manjusha art forms, with a diverse array of specially crafted items such as bags, folders, and showpieces that complement the artistic experience. Moreover, the stall boasts an impressive collection of clothing, including Bhagalpuri Silk sarees adorned with Madhubani and Manjusha prints.

Resident Commissioner Shri Kundan Kumar expressed immense pride in Bihar's rich cultural heritage and its representation at the G20 Summit's Craft Mela. He noted, "Bihar has a glorious past, and we are delighted to present our rich artistic heritage at this stall in collaboration with the Industries Department and the Director of Handlooms. It is a moment of great pride for us to showcase Bihar's renowned Madhubani Art, Manjusha Art, Sikki Art, Sujani Kala, and other art forms. We believe that our art, handicrafts, and handlooms will captivate global audiences as foreign delegates visit our stall during the summit."
