The G20 summit has been successfully organized in the vibrant city of New Delhi, showcasing the rich cultural diversity and technological prowess of India. One of the highlights of this grand event was the Craft Market set up at Pragati Maidan, which offered a captivating glimpse into India's cultural heritage. This market, curated under the One District One Product initiative, exclusively catered to market delegates and foreign media.

In this sprawling market, visitors had the opportunity to explore an array of exquisite products representing various states of India. Renowned institutions such as Trofed, Central Cottage Industries, Khadi Gramodyog, Saras Aajeevika, National Bamboo Mission, National Scheduled Cost Finance, and National Development Corporation contributed to the showcase. Each state's unique craftsmanship was on display, including the intricate Paper Mache from Kashmir, vibrant Lac Bangles from Rajasthan, traditional Madhubani Paintings from Bihar, mesmerizing Thanjavur Paintings from Tamil Nadu, and captivating Lippon Paintings from Gujarat. Mud Mirror Work from Gujarat, Crotch from Goa, and Bandhej from Rajasthan also graced the market, making it a true treasure trove of Indian artistry.

Moreover, a Cultural Corridor was set up, offering guests the opportunity to witness the cultural heritage of both India and 29 other countries in one place. This corridor, occupying 30 percent of a 10,000-square-foot space, displayed the cultural significance and identity of not only the G20 member countries but also nine invited nations. It served as a platform for sharing not only India's cultural richness but also the cultural heritage, identity, and democratic values of participating nations through physical and digital exhibits.

Furthermore, the Digital India Experience Zone, housed in Halls 4 and 14, showcased India's technological advancements. Foreign guests had the chance to explore various aspects of Digital India, including Aadhaar, DigiLocker, UPI, eSanjivani, Deeksha, Bhashini, ONDC, Ask Geeta, MyGov, Kovin, Umang, Jan Dhan, e-NAM, GST, FASTag, and more. This zone also introduced international guests to millet-based Indian cuisine, featuring dishes like Ragi Idli, Lamb with Millet Soup, Murgh Badam, Chaulai Korma, Nargisi Kofta, and Millet Kheer. These delectable offerings highlighted India's commitment to promoting healthy and sustainable dietary choices.

Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog, emphasized the significance of the G20 summit in India, with 29 special invitees and 11 international organizations participating. India leveraged this opportunity to host meetings across 60 cities and union territories, resulting in the initiation of numerous new initiatives. India's chairmanship of the G20 has paved the way for significant achievements, further strengthening the country's role on the global stage.
