'Voyage of Ganga' is a collection of illustrated short stories tailored for readers aged 11 to 14 years. The book aims to instill awareness about the rich cultural and historical heritage of the River Ganga and the imperative need for its conservation. Drawing inspiration from the series of discourses titled 'Ganga Kinare Ganga ki Baatein' conducted on the riverbanks, this book delves into various aspects of life, environment, literature, folklore, and legends, all intricately linked to the river.
The stories within this book are derived from the cultural and environmental experiences shared by countless readers who participated in the groundbreaking Ganga Pustak Parikrama initiative organized in collaboration with NMCG. The initiative was a platform where individuals could express the profound influence of the River Ganga in their lives. 'Voyage of Ganga' serves as a testament to the enduring importance and significance of the Ganges River in the cultural and spiritual tapestry of India.
