Vishwak Sen is back to entertain the audience with another film Gangs of Godavari. The teaser and trailer already released have raised expectations about the film. Apart from this, the promotion of the film was also very tough and there were a lot of expectations from Gangs of Godavari. The release of this film, which was postponed several times, finally reached the audience on 31 May. Let's see how this film is in the review.

Storyline: The entire story of this film is set in the 90s. Ratnakar alias Ratna (Vishwak Sen) is an orphan from Lanka village in Godavari district. Since his parents died when he was young, he used to roam around and do petty thefts. Ratnamala (Anjali), a prostitute from the same village, is his good friend. Ratnakar, who uses people around him for development, comes to know about the sand mafia active in the area. He finds out that the local MLA Doraswamy Raju (Goparaju Ramana) is behind it and he approaches him. In a few days, Doraswamy will become like his right hand. Doraswamy falls in love with Bujji (Neha Shetty), the daughter of a political rival Nanaji (Nazar) and he gets close to Nanaji for her sake.

Interesting Part: The story gains interest after the hero joins MLA Doraswamy. But not in terms of the plot, but the way the hero grew up reminds me of the film "Pushpa". The interval scene increases the interest in the second half. The story becomes more interesting in the second half. Family emotions are impressive.

Flaws: Many Telugu films have been made on the backdrop of village politics. Gangs of Godavari also falls in this category. A slum boy from Godavari district. How did he grow up using politics? The story of this film is based on the development of his life after growing up. Although the story chosen by the director is old, he has tried to make it a little new on screen. In the previous films, Godavari means coconut trees, and everything is shown peacefully. But this film shows another aspect of Godavari.

Overall: Technically the film is very good. Yuvan Shankar Raja's music is the plus point of this film. Along with the songs, he has also given exciting background music. The cinematography is very good. The editing is fine. The production values are also high, just like the film.
