The Havells Lloyd Chandigarh Golf League, in collaboration with Trident Hills Panchkula, is set to kick off on September 26th at the iconic Chandigarh Golf Club, often referred to as the "nursery of Indian golf." This four-week extravaganza promises an exciting competition, featuring 21 teams comprising a total of 378 players. The league adopts a unique format, combining both league and knockout phases, with each team consisting of 18 players. The teams were formed through a Player Auction held on August 18, with each team having ten owner's picks and the remainder selected from the player pool.

This high-profile event is proudly headlined by Havells India Limited, a leading Fast Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) company in India. The 21 teams will be divided into three groups during the round-robin stage, where they will compete against each other. The top twelve teams will advance to the Super 12 knockout stage, scheduled for the third week of October. The top four teams will receive a direct entry into the quarter-finals, while the remaining four will secure their spots through a Super 12 pre-quarterfinal knockout. All matches will be held in morning and afternoon sessions, commencing at 8:00 am. The total prize money for the teams amounts to INR 28 Lacs, with the victorious team taking home INR 12 Lacs.
