Varanasi: The historic city of Kashi, known for its spiritual significance and cultural richness, is set to offer tourists a new and exhilarating perspective – from the sky. The Yogi government is gearing up to introduce Heli-tourism in Kashi, an initiative that promises not only a breathtaking aerial view of the Ganga and Varanasi but also an opportunity to indulge in eco-tourism in the neighboring district of Chandauli.

The move comes in the wake of improved connectivity and the completion of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor, leading to a surge in the number of tourists flocking to Varanasi. As one of the oldest living cities in the world, Varanasi attracts visitors seeking spiritual solace, historical exploration, and the vibrant energy that emanates from its temples and ghats.

The tourism industry plays a pivotal role in Kashi's economy, and with the addition of Heli-tourism, the city is poised to elevate the overall tourist experience. Modern cruises have already been providing a unique perspective of the Ganga, showcasing its beauty, the iconic crescent-shaped ghats, and centuries-old architectural marvels. Now, with Heli-tourism on the horizon, tourists can anticipate a new dimension to their exploration of Varanasi.
