The laptop comes in a sleek blue shade with the Jio branding on the lid and boasts a lightweight design
Reliance has officially launched the much-awaited Reliance JioBook laptop in India, with sales starting on August 5 through Amazon and Reliance Digital online and offline stores. Despite the "Jio" tag in its name, the laptop is not a Reliance Jio product, but rather a Reliance retail offering, so it won't be available on the Jio online store.
The laptop comes in a sleek blue shade with the Jio branding on the lid and boasts a lightweight design, weighing only 990 grams. It features an 11.6-inch compact anti-glare HD display, though with thick bezels, which is expected at its affordable price point.

One of the key features of the JioBook is its support for 4G LTE connectivity and dual-band Wi-Fi, allowing users to stay connected to the internet even while on the move. The laptop runs on the JioOS operating system, offering custom software with support for standard trackpad gestures and over 75 keyboard gestures.
The JioBook is equipped with an octa-core processor and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, making it capable of handling daily tasks with ease. It also offers 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB using an SD card.
As a Jio product, the laptop comes preloaded with proprietary apps like Jio TV and JioCloud games. Additionally, users can learn coding languages such as Java, Python, and Pearl using JioBIAN, a Linux-based coding software. However, it's unclear whether the laptop supports Microsoft apps like Office and PowerPoint.

The JioBook's "infinity" keyboard design stretches the keys to the corners of the laptop, optimizing available space without compromising key size. Port options include USB-A, HDMI, and an audio jack.
Another attractive aspect of the JioBook is the free cloud storage of up to 100GB with Digiboxx that comes bundled with the laptop.
Overall, the Reliance JioBook stands out as an affordable laptop option in India, offering decent specifications, 4G LTE support, and a user-friendly interface through the JioOS operating system, making it a competitive choice in its price range.
