Kangana Ranaut has filed her nomination papers from Mandi Lok Sabha seat today. BJP candidate Kangana had done a road show before filing her candidature. Former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, BJP State President Dr. along with Kangana Ranaut, went to fill out her candidature papers wearing a Himachali cap. Rajiv Bindal and Kangna's mother were also there.

Vikramaditya Singh's father Virbhadra Singh had won the elections from here in 1971 on a Congress ticket. He was also elected as MP from here in 1980 and 2009.
