The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift brings a refreshing update to the mid-size SUV segment, living up to the reputation of its predecessor as the first-ever Kia to hit the Indian market. With an array of changes and enhancements, the Seltos facelift aims to position itself as a more capable version of an already successful SUV.

Visually, the Seltos facelift receives notable updates. The Tiger Nose grille has been enlarged, with LED DRLs extending into it, giving the front a distinctive and striking appearance. The headlamps now feature dynamic-swipe turn indicators, adding a touch of modernity. The bumper is all-new and showcases chunkier fog lamp housings. The SUV now stands out with new alloy wheels, and the top-spec GTX and X-Line trims receive larger 18-inch units. Additionally, the Seltos has grown slightly in size, which may improve interior space.

Inside the cabin, the facelifted Seltos boasts a significant upgrade. The highlight is the dual 10.25-inch screens, comprising an infotainment system and instrument cluster. The infotainment screen is thoughtfully tilted towards the driver and comes with an anti-reflective glass panel, providing a premium feel and minimizing distractions. The dashboard layout remains largely the same, but there is now a new dual-zone climate console. Moreover, a panoramic sunroof enhances the cabin's appeal and adds to the overall feature list.

The 2023 Seltos facelift offers three engine options: a 115 PS 1.5L NA petrol, a 1.5L turbo-diesel, and an iMT (intelligent manual transmission). The petrol engine is smooth and quiet, while the diesel variant impresses with its fuel efficiency, offering a tank range of over 800 kilometers. Transmission options include 6-speed manual and IVT for the petrol engine, while the diesel engine gets an iMT and a 6-speed automatic. The iMT proves to be a notable choice over the regular manual.
