Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic clinched the title of Miss World 2024 at the 71st edition of the pageant, marking a return to India after a 28-year hiatus. Held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, the grand finale witnessed a riveting competition among 112 contestants from around the globe.

Representing India, Sini Shetty, the winner of Femina Miss India 2022, showcased her talent on the international stage, finishing in the top eight. The top four finalists included Yasmin Azaytoun of Lebanon, Aché Abrahams of Trinidad & Tobago, and Lesego Chombo of Botswana, who made their case to Shark Tank judges during the event.

The event also honored Nita Mukesh Ambani, chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, with the Miss World humanitarian award for her philanthropic endeavors. Bollywood icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas delivered a heartfelt video message during the award ceremony.

Various competitions added to the spectacle, including the Miss World Talent contest, won by Miss World Tunisia, the Multi-Media Challenge, clinched by the contestant from Vietnam, and the Sports Challenge, claimed by Croatia. The Martinique candidate emerged victorious in the Top Model Competition, while Brazil secured the Beauty with a Purpose continental award.

Sini Shetty, a 22-year-old Mumbai native, captivated the audience with her Bharatanatyam skills. The event, co-hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and Miss World 2013 Megan Young, featured performances by Neha Kakkar, Tony Kakkar, and Shaan, alongside appearances by Polish model Karolina Bielawska, the reigning Miss World 2021.
