Chandigarh: Kitab Lovers, an organization dedicated to promoting the love for books, is all set to host its 9-day book fair at Lajpat Rai Bhawan, Madhya Marg, Near Petrol Pump, Sector 15B, Chandigarh. The fair will take place from August 5 to 13 and will showcase over 10 lakh new and pre-loved books from more than 20 genres. What sets this book fair apart is its unique 'Load the Box' concept. Customers visiting the fair can make a one-time payment for a box and fill it with as many books as it can hold. The boxes come in three sizes, ranging from Rs 1200 to Rs 3000.

Rahul Pandey, the co-founder and CEO of Kitab Lovers, expressed his delight in hosting the event in Chandigarh for the third time. He emphasized their commitment to providing books at affordable prices, catering to a diverse range of book readers, from toddlers to senior citizens, and across various genres like mystery, self-help, romance, fiction, and non-fiction.

Speaking about the declining book-reading habit in the digital age, Rahul stressed the importance of books as a rich source of knowledge that cannot be replaced by internet entertainment or social media. He encouraged more people, especially parents, to attend the fair and rediscover their love for reading.

Since its establishment in 2019, Kitab Lovers has successfully organized over 50 book fairs in 20 cities across India. Their 'Load the Box' campaign aims to make reading affordable and accessible to every Indian, spreading the joy of reading throughout the country. The book fair also features competitions, where participants have a chance to win free book boxes and discount vouchers. Moreover, they offer a Hindi books section with over 500 titles and a cozy reading corner, providing a peaceful space for readers to immerse themselves in books.
