Manav Rachna Bids Farewell To Future Leaders At Its 2023 Convocation Ceremony
The 19th Convocation for Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies (MRIIRS) and the 9th Convocation for Manav Rachna University (MRU) was a momentous occasion that took place in Faridabad, Haryana on October 28, 2023. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Padma Bhushan Prof. (Dr.) Padmanabhan Balaram, a highly esteemed Biochemist and former Director of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, who served as the Honorable Chief Guest.
Approximately 1300 individuals, including undergraduates, postgraduates, and doctoral scholars, were bestowed with their well-earned degrees, marking a significant milestone in their educational journeys. Notably, six luminaries were also honored with honoris causa degrees, including Padma Vibhushan MC Mary Kom and former Chief Justice U U Lalit, adding a touch of prestige to the event.

The Convocation Ceremony brought together MRIIRS, Manav Rachna Dental College (MRDC), and MRU in a joint celebration. Dr. Prashant Bhalla, the Honorable Chancellor of MRIIRS and MRU, presided over the event, providing valuable guidance and congratulations to the graduating class. He encouraged the graduates to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, emphasizing the importance of purpose, compassion, integrity, and ethical responsibility in their future endeavors.
The Honorable Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Padmanabhan Balaram, delivered an inspiring Convocation Address, commending the graduates and sharing words of wisdom.
