Manorathangal Trailer Review: Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil Explore Diverse Realms

'Manorathangal' is a special gift to MT on his 91st birthday. It is an anthology composed by leading directors of Malayalam cinema, and written by MT Vasudevan Nair. A two-minute trailer of this anthology has been released which shows glimpses of nine stories. The trailer begins with Ullakaanayaka Kamal Haasan arriving. The trailer was launched at a special event. The film is going to be released on the occasion of Onam.
The trailer is 106 seconds long and features actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan introducing the legacy of MT Vasudevan Nair. During the trailer, we get glimpses of various segments of the series, featuring actors like Malayalam superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty. It becomes clear during the promo that these stories have no similarity, and each story is set in a different landscape and in a different period. Mohanlal's segment is presented in black-and-white, while Mammootty's appears to be darker.

Apart from the Malayalam superstars, the series also stars skilled actors like Fahadh Faasil, Parvathy Thiruvottu, Asif Ali, Biju Menon, Shanthi Krishna, Madhu, Nadiya Moidu, Indrans, Nedumudi Venu, Surabhi Lakshmi, Siddique, Indrajith Sukumaran and Aparna Balamurali in pivotal roles. As per the trailer, Kamal Haasan is also associated with the project.
The series is directed by Priyadarshan, who has directed films like 'Olavam Theeravam' and 'Shilalikhatham'. Additionally, the series also features great directors like Ranjith, Shyamprasad, Aswathi V Nair, Mahesh Narayanan, Jayarajan Nair, Santosh Sivan and Ratheesh Ambat.
