Mittran Da Challeya Truck Ni Trailer Review: Amrinder Gill & Sunanda Promising A Punjabi Film Packed With Family Drama
The much-awaited Punjabi movie, Mittran Da Chalya Truck Ni, is scheduled for a release on October 11, 2024. The recently launched trailer of the movie has already created a buzz. And it's all because it boasts the ace performances of Amrinder Gill, Sunanda Sharma, and Sayani Gupta in the lead roles, promising all the romance, comedy, and family drama one might crave for. Rakesh Dhawan directed and scripted the film. Based on its preview, it will more than likely be another blockbuster hit that sees the audience's imagination run wild over an emotional narration and fine acting.
Storyline
The trailer introduces us to Satta, played by Amrinder Gill, who falls in love with Sunanda, played by Sunanda Sharma. Things take a sharp turn, however, when Satta ends up marrying Kolkata girl Sayani Gupta. The film will likely be positioned about the circumstances surrounding his marriage to the character of Sayani, and how these things actually materialize in relationships. Hardeep Gill is featured as Satta's dad, so there will be even more family dynamics and even more traditional values coming into the color palette. With the chemistry of the three leads, there's an emotional roller coaster, and moments of light-heartedness have it. What makes it more special is also that there are supporting cast one may count on-Sayaji Shinde, Jarnail Singh, Sukhi Chahal, Deedar Gill, and Mohini Toor who play pivotal roles most likely to add depth in the story.
Positive Points
One of the strongest points in this trailer is its performance by its lead stars. Amrinder Gill shows his natural grace in his overall demeanor. His comedy with emotional depth seems to be an aspect that will make this film go right. Such was the feeling of a very energetic performer with each frame coming alive again with Sunanda Sharma. Her presence with all vibrancy seems to give a refreshing energy, while Sayani Gupta brings in a different cultural dimension that makes the story worthwhile. Probably, Rakesh Dhawan would bring the emotional beats alive with some nice, well-written dialogues. The music and background score are kept under wraps, but it seems to be suitable for a lighthearted-yet-intense drama.
Negative Points
Someone could see this trailer as undermining some secondary characters' potential by not bringing them forward to the frontline and letting the audience know what significance they will have in the movie.
Overall Verdict
Mittran Da Chalya Truck Ni is a Punjabi drama in the offing, with romance, comedy, family emotions and balanced with good distribution of all of these. Lead trio appears to be one of the biggest strengths of the film, besides the promising story narrated by Rakesh Dhawan. Amrinder Gill's fans will like this film, and people interested in Punjabi cinema because it is full of entertainment blended with emotional moments.
