Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first against Canada. From the word go! Pakistan was creating difficulties for the batting lineup of Canada as Navneet Dhaliwal and Pargat Singh got out for cheap and pushed Canada on the back foot. Aaron Johnson was the lone wolf in the entire Canada Innings, as he scored his half-century with four well-taken boundaries and four monstrous sixes as well.
Pakistan found their most effective bowler in Mohammad Amir, as he picked up two crucial wickets and gave away only 13 runs in his four-over spell. Haris Rauf proved his quality yet again, as he too picked up two wickets during his spell.
