Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Varanasi holds deep significance as Kashi, and its people, hold a special place in his heart, according to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During a public meeting in Vajidpur, CM Yogi extended a warm welcome to PM Modi and expressed his congratulations on visiting the holy land of Baba Vishwanath during the auspicious month of Sawan.

CM Yogi emphasized that under PM Modi's leadership, India has gained a new identity and respect globally. He highlighted how PM Modi initiated the journey of development and heritage in Kashi back in 2014, and his current visit signifies the continuation of that progress.

The Chief Minister proudly mentioned that Kashi Vishwanath Dham has become a center of attraction worldwide. The temples and ghats in the city have been adorned, and Kashi's transformation was evident even during the G-20 summit. Furthermore, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has recognized Kashi as the cultural capital of the world for 2022-23.

CM Yogi revealed that Kashi is blending ancient traditions with modern advancements, and the Prime Minister's visit is accompanied by projects worth over Rs 12,000 crore. He acknowledged PM Modi's efforts over the past nine years, which have given India a new identity and indicated that the visit to Kashi is a celebration of these accomplishments.

The Chief Minister expressed how India's success story has unfolded in various sectors under PM Modi's leadership, leading to a transformed perception of India and Uttar Pradesh on the global stage. He concluded by stating that PM Modi's presence on the sacred land of Baba Vishwanath is a matter of immense pride for everyone.

The event was attended by Union Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brijesh Pathak, Minister of Urban Development and Energy AK Sharma, Union Minister SP Singh Baghel, State Minister Ravindra Jaiswal, Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, as well as several MPs and MLAs.
