PUBG Mobile Game Released In India With The 2.5 Update, Providing Refined And Immersive Gameplay
Krafton, the South Korean video game developer, has officially announced the availability of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) for play in India. The game has been rolled out with the 2.5 Update, providing players with a refined and immersive gaming experience. To ensure a smooth gameplay experience, access to the game will be staggered, allowing users to log in gradually.
Krafton is committed to promoting responsible gaming practices, and as part of this initiative, the playtime for users under 18 years old will be limited to three hours per day, while other players will have a limit of six hours. Parental verification and a daily spending limit for minors will also be enforced within the game.
The 2.5 Update brings exciting new features to BGMI, including a fresh map called Nusa, captivating in-game events, weapon upgrades, and an impressive collection of new skins to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
It's worth noting that the Indian government had previously banned Krafton's popular game PUBG in the country. However, in May 2021, Krafton announced the launch of BGMI as a replacement. Shortly after the release, the government ordered Google and Apple to block the BGMI gaming app from their respective app stores under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Fortunately, Krafton has now resolved the issues, and within a maximum of 48 hours, all users will be able to log in and play BGMI. Additionally, the game will also be available for download and play on iOS devices in India.
With the launch of BGMI in India, Krafton aims to recapture the immense popularity and engagement that PUBG had achieved in the country. By introducing new features and adhering to responsible gaming guidelines, the company hopes to provide Indian gamers with an enjoyable and safe gaming experience.
As the gaming community eagerly awaits the availability of BGMI, it is expected to garner significant attention and attract millions of players across the country.
