Radhika Khera Steps Down From Congress Primary Membership Due To Backlash Within The Party
Radhika Khera stated that she has worked with full commitment and devotion for the Congress party, and just because she visited Ayodhya and is a follower of Sanatan Dharma, she was stripped of justice.
Lok Sabha Elections 2024 are almost upon us, and Congress has received another big blow as party leader Radhika Khera steps down from her primary membership in the party because she claimed that the party members mistreated her. Radhika Khera was the Congress leader of Chhatisgarh and has served the party for over 22 years. According to her, she received massive backlash from her other party members after she visited the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Radhika Khera wrote a resignation letter to Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge in which she stated that she wanted to get a glimpse of the Ram Lalla idol and could not stop herself from visiting the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Because of this action, she received massive backlash from her own party members.
"I have given more than 22 years of my life to this party and worked with full honesty from NSUI to the Congress's media department. Despite that, I had to face such intense opposition because I am supporting Ram in Ayodhya. Yes, I am a girl and can fight. That is what I am doing now. I will continue to fight for justice for myself and my countrymen. I have always fought from every platform for the justice of others, but when it came to my own justice, I found myself defeated in the party. Being a devotee of Lord Ram and a woman, I am deeply hurt," she said.

Radhika Khera emphasized that she was not served with justice when she claimed that she was disrespected in the Chhattisgarh Congress unit. The profile picture of her X/Twitter account was changed, and we could see her standing in front of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya just hours before she sent her resignation letter.
Radhika Khera stated that she has worked with full commitment and devotion for the Congress party, and just because she visited Ayodhya and is a follower of Sanatan Dharma, she was stripped of justice. This is the reason she decided to end her 22-year-long association with the Congress party.
