Rajkumar Anand Declares AAP's Downfall Has Begun As Thousands Join BJP On Constitution Day In Delhi
Today being Constitution Day, November 26, 2024, hundreds of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers formed a spree joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi. Confirming this, senior BJP leader and former minister Rajkumar Anand said the AAP's influence in Delhi is going down fast and will be totally wiped out. He alleged that the AAP had made false promises and said that the people of Delhi are now determined to tear the party root from the city's soil.
Rajkumar Anand criticized AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, alleging that his government exploited Delhi and lost public favor. He emphasized that the BJP’s governance under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is inspiring citizens and attracting former AAP members to join the party.
The event was presided over by Karol Bagh District President Shri Sunil Kakkar and attended by BJP Vice President and District Incharge, Shri Vinay Rawat. A number of AAP office-bearers from Patel Nagar constituency also formally joined the BJP under the leadership of Rajkumar Anand.
Prominent people among the new members are former Assembly Speaker Anuj Rajput, Women's Wing Vice President Saroj Patel, Youth Assembly President Sagar Solanki, RWA Assembly President Dinesh Khullar, Ward Women's Wing President Meena Mehra, and Youth Wing member Hariom Yadav.
