Ayodhya experienced a vibrant and culturally rich evening on Monday, following the consecration ceremony, as talented artists from Uttar Pradesh and across the country captivated the audience with their musical and dance performances. Over 200 artists, hailing from regional cultural centers of the Ministry of Culture and various parts of the nation, showcased the diverse tapestry of Indian culture on more than 100 stages erected across Ayodhya.

This cultural extravaganza became a source of pride for Ayodhya residents and a moment of honor for visitors who had traveled from different regions. Despite the morning chill, the spirits of the performers remained undaunted as they adorned themselves in colorful attire, presenting captivating performances.

Highlighting the cultural soiree were the melodious renditions by Padma Shree awardee Malini Awasthi and Kanhaiya Mittal. Malini Awasthi graced Tulsi Udyan with her soulful tunes, while Kanhaiya Mittal enchanted the audience at Ram Katha Park.

The consecration ceremony extended beyond Ayodhya, encompassing the entire state of Uttar Pradesh. The spirit of 'Atithi Devo Bhava' was ingrained in the guests through traditional practices such as 'damru' and 'conch blowing'. Various folk dances, including Dhobiya, Faruwahi, Bam Rasia, Mayur dances, Rai dance, and tribal dances, illuminated the stages, with a special delight being the tribal folk dance by members of the Vantangiya community of Gorakhpur.

Guests were treated to enchanting dances from Awadhi and Uttarakhand, spanning locations from Dharma Path to Ram Path, Janmabhoomi Path, the airport, Lata Chowk, and many others. The Sharma Brothers from Ujjain delivered devotional songs at Tulsi Udyan, while the Watekar Sisters from Nagpur presented at Ram Katha Park.

The spiritual aspect was not neglected, with devotees having the opportunity to listen to the revered spiritual speaker Devkinandan Thakur's Shri Ram Katha at the venue at 10:30 AM.

The cultural procession featured not only folk dancers from various regions of Uttar Pradesh but also artists from states such as Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The confluence of diverse cultural expressions added to the grandeur of the occasion, showcasing the unity in diversity that defines the cultural landscape of India. This celebration not only honored the traditions and heritage of Ayodhya but also served as a testament to the rich cultural mosaic that unites the entire nation.
