Some fans are not happy with these leaks, as the images of Lara Dutta and Arun Govil playing the roles of Kaikeyi and King Dashrath, respectively, were also revealed prematurely. Some fans have expressed their disappointment with these leaks, as they want to avoid these spoilers and witness the timeless tale of evil being perished by good in all of its glory. Ranbir Kapoor has done a lot of hard work for his look as Lord Ram after playing the role of Ranvijay in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal in 2023.

Ranbir Kapoor underwent a rigorous routine to prepare for his role as Ram, including reducing his carbohydrate intake and intensifying cardio exercises like running and bodyweight training. He aimed to slim down rather than maintain a muscular physique, particularly focusing on losing weight from his face and torso.
Along with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, Ramayana is also expected to feature the superstar Yash from KGF as Ravana. Sunny Deol plays Hanuman, and talks are ongoing for Bobby Deol and Vijay Sethupathi to portray Kumbhakarna and Vibhishana.
Although there are no confirmations yet, the ancient Indian epic 'Ramayana' is scheduled to hit theaters in 2025 on the occasion of Diwali. The anticipation is high, as it will be interesting to see how the film will showcase this epic tale compared to last year's Aadipurush.
