Rules Ranjan," directed by Ratnam Krishna, is a film that attempts to tell the story of Mano Ranjan, a middle-class engineer who embarks on a journey of personal growth and love while working in Mumbai. While it starts with a promising premise, the execution leaves much to be desired.

On the positive side, the film's attempt to address the challenges faced by a non-Hindi speaker in a Hindi-speaking workplace is relatable and offers some moments of humor. Kiran Abbavaram, who plays the titular character Mano Ranjan, showcases his acting talent, and his transformation from a timid newcomer to a confident team leader, dubbed "Rules Ranjan," is commendable.

The highlight of the movie is undoubtedly the song "Sammohanuda," which not only sounds great but is also visually captivating. Neha Shetty, who plays the role of Sana, shines in this song sequence, displaying her dancing skills with ease.

However, the film has several shortcomings that hinder its overall impact. The transition from Mano Ranjan to Rules Ranjan lacks logical consistency and feels abrupt. The plot's progression, especially after the shift from Tirupati to Mumbai, is filled with implausible scenarios that strain believability. The narrative seems to lose its way, and the film struggles to maintain a coherent and engaging storyline.

One of the major issues is the lack of a well-defined climax. The film keeps the audience waiting for a satisfying resolution, but when it finally arrives, it feels rushed and fails to provide the closure expected from a romantic drama.

Furthermore, the character development, especially for Sana's character, feels lacking. Despite being portrayed as an adventurous and independent character, her role remains underdeveloped, leaving the audience wanting more depth and dimension to her character.

In summary, "Rules Ranjan" starts with a promising premise and benefits from Kiran Abbavaram's performance and the captivating "Sammohanuda" song. However, the film suffers from a lack of logical consistency, implausible scenarios, and an unsatisfying climax. While it attempts to explore themes of personal growth and love, it ultimately falls short in delivering a cohesive and engaging narrative.
