Samsung Galaxy M34 5G: Samsung Unveils Galaxy With 120 Hz Super AMOLED Display And 8 GB RAM
Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy M34 5G as the successor to the popular Galaxy M33 5G. Building upon its predecessor, the new model offers several upgrades and adopts a design similar to recent releases, including the Galaxy A54. The Galaxy M34 5G features a vertical arrangement of three rear-facing cameras, housed within individual camera lenses.
The smartphone boasts a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. With a native resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate, the panel promises a smooth and immersive viewing experience. While the brightness details have not been disclosed, Samsung has ensured a high-quality display for users.

Interestingly, Samsung has chosen to retain the same chipset as its predecessor, opting for the Exynos 1280. Coupled with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, the Galaxy M34 5G delivers reliable performance for everyday tasks and multitasking.
One of the standout features of the Galaxy M34 5G is its impressive 6,000 mAh battery, supporting 25 W wired charging via the USB Type-C port. This ensures extended usage without frequent recharging. In terms of camera capabilities, the device boasts a 50 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2 MP auxiliary lens, and an 8 MP front-facing camera for capturing stunning selfies.
Samsung is also committed to providing an excellent software experience. The Galaxy M34 5G guarantees four major Android updates up to Android 17, along with an additional year of security patch updates, ensuring users stay up to date with the latest software enhancements and security features.
The Galaxy M34 5G will initially be available in India, with the base model featuring 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM priced at INR 17,999 (~US$218). Alternatively, users can opt for the variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, priced at INR 18,999 (~US$230). It remains to be seen whether Samsung plans to release the Galaxy M34 5G in markets outside of India.
