Satsang Bhawan Of Sanatan Dharma Sabha, Devotees Delight In Hearing Sri Krishna's Bala Leela Stories

Under the auspices of the Vishwa Jagriti Mission, an enlightening recital of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha has been organized for the spiritual benefit of devotees and the remembrance of ancestors in Panchkula, Chandigarh, and Mohali Mandal. This spiritually enriching event is taking place at the Satsang Bhawan of the Sanatan Dharma Sabha, located in Sector 32 D, and is scheduled to continue until October 13.

During the discourse on this particular day, Acharya Kuldeep delved into the enchanting stories of Sri Krishna's Bala Leela, emphasizing that there was no guilt associated with any of Lord Krishna's divine pastimes. He explained that in the guise of playful butter theft, the Lord was actually receiving the pure intentions of the Gopis. The episode of 'Vastraharan Leela,' where Krishna playfully took the Gopis' clothes, was a metaphorical lesson to teach the importance of modesty in one's actions, as taking a bath without clothes was deemed disrespectful to the divine presence of Lord Varun in the waters.

Acharya Kuldeep clarified that Lord Krishna's actions were free from any impure intentions, as even at that age, some Gopis were younger than 9, and Krishna himself was only 5 years old. He posed the question of whether a child's mind could be tainted at such a tender age, highlighting that nothing remains hidden from the all-pervading God, who exists in all aspects of creation.

Furthermore, the Acharya expounded on the divine purpose of Lord Krishna's birth. He elucidated that Krishna's arrival on Earth was to purify the five fundamental elements and vanquish the forces of darkness while disseminating the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita. Krishna purified the Earth by defeating Putana, the water by subduing Kalia, the air by vanquishing Trinavarta, and the sky by defeating Vyomasura. His battle with Kansa symbolized the destruction of ego. Through the Bhagavad Gita, he simplified the esoteric knowledge contained in the Vedas and Upanishads, offering insights into the paths of Karma (action), Bhakti (devotion), and Jnana (knowledge).

Acharya Kuldeep stressed the need to understand Lord Krishna as Yogeshwar, detached from worldly attachments. He advocated embracing life with a sense of detachment and the mantra "Charaiveti," which means to keep moving forward. Saurabh Gupta, the president of Vishwa Jagruti Mission, encouraged residents to partake in this divine journey of self-discovery by attending the Gyan Katha, emphasizing that through the leelas of Lord Sri Krishna, devotees could find inner peace and happiness, and ultimately lead more meaningful lives.
