Silence 2 Movie Review: Manoj Bajpayee Stars In A Multiple Murder Mystery Story
After the success of Silence, its second season has also been released. Although its first season did not do anything special, according to me, Manoj's acting in it has been excellent as always. So let's talk about Silence 2, which has recently been released on Zee 5.
Storyline: This is the story of ACP Avinash Verma, who is a very good officer who does his work very well. There are many capable policemen on his team who provide support to the 24-hour special unit. The story begins with murders taking place in a bar. Although there are a lot of twists and turns in the story, it keeps the audience quite confused. Something similar was seen in the previous series too: one thing was shown, but something else happened. But this time, the investigation of the crime starts with a political murder. As it happens in every crime drama, a new angle on every murder is being seen. An inspector of the Rajasthan Police also finds a dead body. She asks for ACP's help. And then the wires keep getting connected. And that's where the story gets a little crisper.
Positive Points: The direction of this series is very good, which is worthy of praise. Such a role looks fantastic on Manoj Bajpayee, and the emotional touch adds to it. If I talk about its casting, Prachi Desai is also seen playing a wonderful character in it. Overall, Silence 2 is an enjoyable watch, as it keeps you hooked and guessing about what to come next.
Negative Points: The first part of Silence proved to be better than this, even though it did not show anything unique on the screen. Still, it was better than this. If we talk about other actors, they get very little screen time because the focus has been on Manoj Bapayee only. On the other hand, the story and concept are common, and there is nothing unique about them that would attract all your attention.
Overall: This movie is a one-time watch, and if you are expecting more from it, then you might face disappointment. But its specialty is also that it is a light crime suspense thriller that you can watch comfortably with the family. If we talk about cinematography, Pooja Gupte has worked very hard on it, which is visible in this film.
