The T20 World Cup 2024 schedule has been revealed by the International Cricket Council (ICC), promising a historic event as it expands its horizons with co-hosts West Indies and the United States of America. Set to run from June 1 to June 29, 2024, this tournament signifies a groundbreaking moment for cricket, as matches will be played in the United States for the first time in ICC World Cup history. The opening clash is scheduled between USA and Canada, making it a momentous start to the tournament.

A total of 55 matches are poised to unfold across nine venues, ensuring a month filled with electrifying cricket action. The Super Eight stage, succeeding the initial group matches, will witness teams retaining their seeding if they advance. These crucial encounters are strategically planned in popular Caribbean tourist destinations such as Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The journey towards the final will see the top two teams from each Super Eight group progressing to the semi-finals, to be hosted in Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago on June 26 and June 27, respectively. The pinnacle of the tournament, the final, is slated to take place at the iconic Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29, adding to the grandeur of the event.

A much-anticipated fixture is the clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan, scheduled for June 9 in New York. India's group stage schedule also includes encounters with Ireland, USA, and Canada, injecting an additional layer of excitement into the Group A matchups.

The 20 Participating Teams Are Divided Into Four Groups:

- Group A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, USA
- Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman
- Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea
- Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal

The tournament is set to unfold across various confirmed venues. In the United States, matches will be hosted at Broward County in Florida, Grand Prairie in Dallas, and Eisenhower Park in New York. In the West Indies, cricket enthusiasts can anticipate thrilling action at Arnos Vale Stadium, Queen's Park Oval, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Kensington Oval, Providence Stadium, and Darren Sammy Cricket Ground. Despite Dominica's initial plans to host matches, the country withdrew from the event in late 2023.
