Tata Curvv Spied Review: Design, Specs, Price & More
Tata Curvv

Tata Motors unveiled the near-production version of the Curvv Concept at the recent Auto Expo. The Tata Curvv is rooted in the modified architecture of the Nexon, presenting a unique blend of design and performance. Positioned between the Nexon and the Harrier in Tata's lineup, the Curvv offers a more premium and eye-catching option from this Indian automaker. The company has commenced road testing of the production-ready Curvv in India, confirming its impending arrival. The mid-size SUV is anticipated to grace showroom floors by mid-2024.

Design is a standout feature of the Tata Curvv. This SUV boasts a coupe-like profile, akin to vehicles like the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. The test mule showcases a vertically split headlamp design with a connected theme for LED DRLs, while the taillamps follow a similar pattern. The Curvv sports striking 18-inch alloy wheels, adding to its aesthetics.

Inside, the Curvv offers seating for five adults, promising a spacious cabin. Although access to the concept's interior was restricted, glimpses of the concept revealed red inserts around the seats and steering wheel, along with red-finished seat belts, complementing the exterior. An impressive feature of the interior is the large infotainment screen coupled with an all-digital instrument cluster, promising a futuristic and appealing interior.

Tata Motors, known for its feature-rich offerings, ensures the Curvv follows suit. Expected features include powered door handles, a 360-degree parking camera, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), six or more airbags, various passive safety devices, and a sizable touchscreen, possibly up to 10 inches. Furthermore, a panoramic sunroof is likely to grace the feature list.

When it comes to colors, the Tata Curvv is expected to offer a diverse palette to cater to various preferences, allowing customers to choose a shade that resonates with their style.

As for pricing, while exact figures are yet to be disclosed, the Curvv is positioned as a more premium option in Tata's lineup. It will likely compete with mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, and others, offering a compelling alternative in this segment.

In summary, the Tata Curvv is a highly anticipated mid-size SUV with a design that sets it apart from the competition. With its array of features and a focus on aesthetics, it aims to be a strong contender in the market, potentially becoming a popular choice for consumers seeking a blend of style and performance.
