The Bodybuilding, Physique Championship, And National Powerlifting Championship Concluded Successfully, Promoting Fitness And Strength
Panchkula: The Bold Nation and Chandigarh Physique Alliance successfully concluded the first edition of the Body Building and Physique Championship and National Powerlifting Championship. The prize distribution ceremony took place at the Indradhanush Auditorium, with esteemed guests and participants in attendance. Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta graced the event as the chief guest and announced a financial grant of Rs 1 lakh to the organizers to support future programs.
During his speech, Gyanchand Gupta commended the organizers for the theme of the event, which focused on promoting a "Drug-free Haryana." He emphasized the importance of youth staying away from drugs and praised Haryana's prominent position in the sports arena. Gupta also mentioned that he had written a letter to the Chief Minister, urging the closure of hookah bars in the state.
Special guests at the event included Anumit Hira Sodhi, Anubhav Agrawal, and Sanjeev Chawla. Additionally, notable figures such as Hemant Angreesh, President of NPC Worldwide India and Powerlifting and Strongman Alliance, Jasdeep Singh, Sanjeev Chawla, Parveen Narang Bunty, Ankur Hastir, and Sahil Dhingra graced the occasion with their presence.
The championship featured a Strongmen competition, where participants showcased their strength by pulling a truck. The NPC Nationals, another highlight of the event, also took place on the second day. Various categories of the competition were held, including bodybuilding, classic physique, men's physique, women's bikini round, women's physique round, and the star category.
The opening ceremony of the championship was inaugurated by BJP MP and Bhojpuri singer Manoj Tiwari on Saturday. Renowned Bollywood and Pollywood actor Sachin Rishi and Celebrity Cricket League player (actor and organizer) Rajeev Rishi stressed the significance of youth abstaining from drugs and prioritizing their health. They highlighted the importance of maintaining a fit body as a primary objective.
Atinder Jit Singh, President of the Chandigarh Physique Alliance, expressed his delight at organizing the championship for the first time in the Tricity area. He emphasized their commitment to spreading the message of a drug-free Haryana and announced their intention to continue organizing similar events in the future.
The championship received generous support from notable sponsors, including Alcasva, HFN Nutrition, Gibbon Nutrition, Merchant Perfumes, Tanishq, Gray Heron, Sanjeev Kalra, and Protein Karel. Their contributions played a crucial role in making the event a success.
