The TiE Chandigarh Chapter has successfully concluded the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition 2023 Finals, showcasing the exceptional ingenuity of women entrepreneurs and emphasizing TiE Chandigarh's dedication to nurturing a diverse and inclusive startup ecosystem.
From a competitive pool of 46 applications, the top 10 participants emerged as finalists after a rigorous selection process. Each finalist had the opportunity to present their pioneering ideas in person at the event, held at the AIC-ISB in Mohali. This platform not only allowed these exceptional entrepreneurs to highlight their visionary concepts but also underscored their resilience and creativity in overcoming challenges.

The pinnacle of the event was the recognition of Prerna Kalra as the triumphant entrepreneur. Her venture, Hanu AI, earned her the privilege of representing the Chandigarh Chapter at the prestigious TiE Global Summit in Singapore. Additionally, Kalra received a cash prize of Rs 25,000, acknowledging her remarkable achievement. This recognition offers an international platform for Hanu AI and facilitates global networking and investor relations.
Dr. Vipasha Sharma, the founder of Mkelly Biotech Pvt. Ltd., secured the first runner-up position, while the title of the second runner-up was claimed by Dr. Pallavi Bansal, founder of Duuet. Their exceptional contributions were honored with cash prizes of Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively, with the generous support of Sahil Makkar, MD of Punjab Angels Network.
Beyond the top accolades, a 'Special Jury Award' was bestowed upon Maitreyi Sharma, founder of i-Resonate Technologies, accompanied by a cash prize of Rs 10,000, courtesy of TiE Chandigarh.
