"Tufang" attempts to weave a tapestry of multiple genres, promising a mix of action, romance, drama, and comedy. However, the film falls short of delivering on its ambitious premise, leaving viewers disappointed and underwhelmed.

One of the main drawbacks of the film is its lackluster execution of the storyline. While the trailer hints at a gripping action-packed narrative, the plot meanders aimlessly, making it hard to follow or invest in the characters' motivations. The introduction of Jagjeet Sandhu as Mouser Brar, the antagonist, is intriguing, but his character lacks depth and fails to evoke a genuine sense of menace. Moreover, the supposed unusual romance between characters feels forced and out of place, adding little value to the overall narrative.

Despite the promise of exploring the value of relationships, the film fails to create meaningful connections between characters. The dynamics between Cherry and Guri, as brothers-in-law, lack authenticity, leaving their bond feeling superficial and unconvincing. The partnership between Arjan and Rukshaar for revenge lacks a compelling foundation, making their motivations appear shallow and arbitrary.

Another significant issue with "Tufang" is its attempt to incorporate comedy, which often falls flat. The comedic moments feel forced and out of sync with the overall tone of the film, disrupting the narrative flow and diluting the impact of more serious scenes.

The film's portrayal of violence and weapons also raises concerns. While it claims to show the real use and meaning of violence, it ultimately glorifies and normalizes their presence, sending a potentially harmful message to the audience.

Overall, "Tufang" struggles to find its footing, oscillating between genres without truly excelling in any. Lack of character development, a convoluted plot, and unsuccessful attempts at humor make it challenging for viewers to connect with the film on an emotional level. Despite its potential to deliver a poignant message about relationships, the film falls short and fails to leave a lasting impression.
