Virat Kohli And Gautam Gambhir Settle Differences With A Hug During RCB Vs KKR Match

Cricket fans were surprised and happy when they saw Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli resolve their differences with a hug during the IPL clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders. The face-off between the two teams was highly anticipated as this was the first time since their ugly fight last year that RCB mentor Virat Kohli and KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir would come face to face.
Last year, during a match between LSG and RCB, Kohli argued with Naveen-ul-Haq, and after the match, Kohli and Gambhir were seen aggressively charging at each other as a heated moment broke out. However, during the timeout after the end of the 16th over, Kohli and Gambhir shared a warm hug and had a small chat, in which Kohli was seen smiling throughout the encounter.

RCB set the target of 183 for KKR after a brilliant knock from Virat Kohli as they were looking for their first home win against KKR since 2015. Initially, it seemed that we would have a close game, but it turned out to be rather one-sided as KKR easily chased the target in less than 17 overs. Sunil Narine smashed 47 off just 22 balls, which set the perfect tempo for KKR to chase such a big total.

This was RCB's second loss of the campaign already as they fell short against the defending champions CSK in the opening match of Tata IPL 2024. They currently sit at the 6th spot on the table with just 2 points. Meanwhile, KKR won their second consecutive game and are having a very good start to their campaign. They are sitting 2nd on the table and are just behind CSK only because of their run rate.
