Water Metro Ayodhya

The introduction of the water metro system in Ayodhya marks a significant step towards enhancing tourism and promoting eco-friendly transportation along the serene banks of the Sarayu River. Initiated by the Yogi government, this innovative mode of travel aims to enrich the experience of pilgrims and tourists visiting Ayodhya.

The water metro, spanning from Sant Tulsidas Ghat to Guptar Ghat, covers a distance of approximately 14 kilometers, offering passengers the opportunity to indulge in water excursions amidst modern amenities. With seating capacity for around 50 passengers, the water metro ensures a comfortable and secure journey. The seats, fortified with durable fiber material, are strategically placed on both sides of the boat, minimizing the risk of accidents while providing ample space for travelers to relish the scenic beauty.

Engineered for convenience and safety, the water metro boasts fully air-conditioned cabins equipped with informative displays for passenger guidance. Additionally, a separate cabin for the boat pilot ensures efficient navigation throughout the voyage. Powered by electricity, the water metro can traverse the distance between Sant Tulsidas Ghat and Guptar Ghat in just one hour, offering a seamless transit experience.

In adherence to environmental conservation, life-saving jackets and other emergency equipment are readily available onboard to tackle unforeseen circumstances. This proactive approach underscores the commitment to passenger safety and well-being.
