Youth-20 Summit

Highlighting the pivotal role of youth in shaping society, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized their historical contributions, drawing parallels between revered figures such as Ram, Krishna, Shankaracharya, and Vivekananda. Speaking at the inaugural Youth-20 Summit held under the G-20 umbrella at the Rudraksh International Convention Centre in Sigra, Adityanath expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for enabling Uttar Pradesh to host various G-20-related summits, with the main Y-20 summit set to take place in Varanasi. He hoped this event would inspire global youth.

Adityanath underscored how youthful luminaries, despite their relatively short lives, have indelibly impacted India. Figures like Adi Shankar, Swami Vivekananda, and Guru Gobind Singh played pivotal roles in India's cultural and freedom struggles. He praised Rani Laxmibai, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, and revolutionary icons for their youthful fervor in fighting for India's independence.

The Chief Minister lauded the nation's rich diversity and unity, highlighting India's cultural significance. He emphasized that India's G-20 leadership and the chosen theme, 'One Earth, One Family, One Future,' resonate with the ancient Indian concept of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'—the world as one family.

He concluded by emphasizing that the Y-20 representatives, guided by the message of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,' have identified five themes to connect the world and promote humanity's well-being. This gathering symbolizes the culmination of youth-driven global efforts aimed at shaping a brighter future. Adityanath's speech resonated with India's age-old ethos of inclusivity, innovation, and leadership on the global stage.
