Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal recently tied the knot with Mexican entrepreneur Grecia Munoz, according to reports. The couple, who got married over a month ago, returned to India from their honeymoon in February. The news of their marriage surfaced without any official announcement, but Munoz's Instagram bio, stating she is "now at home in India," hinted at their union.
Munoz, a former model, has been sharing glimpses of her life in India on social media, showcasing famous spots in Delhi. She recently launched a startup dealing with luxury consumer products.
Deepinder Goyal, previously married to Kanchan Joshi whom he met while studying at IIT Delhi, has now embarked on this new journey with Munoz. Goyal, the founder of Zomato, faced criticism for the launch of the "Pure veg Mode" service, which he later withdrew due to feedback from vegetarian customers.
In response to the backlash, Goyal announced that while the company would continue to serve vegetarian customers, they would no longer implement on-ground segregation of delivery fleets based on food preferences. All Zomato riders, both regular and those catering to vegetarians, will now wear the color red.
